GIRLS PLAN THEIR CAREERS WITH STEAM 2
The project was to strengthen the awareness and raise awareness of female students (12. Grade) studying at high schools and equivalent schools in a disadvantaged region to pursue a career in the fields of science-technology-engineering-art-mathematics (STEAM). The project was carried out on 6-11 September 2021 with the support of TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey).
PARENTSTEM
The overall goal of this project is to increase family involvement in STEM education process of early childhood students specifically coming from low socio-economic status. Through this project and its intellectual outputs, early childhood teachers’ competences for encouraging low income families to involve in their children STEM education process will be increased and extended. Through involvement of low-income families in STEM education process, children belonging to disadvantage groups would have better access to STEM education starting from as early as Pre-K (kindergarten) level. Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics Education Research Association was part of PARENTSTEM. PARENTSTEM project EU funded between 2018-2021.
